Hi, scholars! This week we will focus on healthy minds and bodies. 30 minutes of daily exercise is really important. Since my rec center is closed, I am trying to find fun ways to work out at home. We have been taking a family walk around our neighborhood most days. Sometimes it is too cold or rainy to go for our walk. On those days have been doing a yoga video in the morning. Here is one of our favorites based on The Very Hungry Caterpillar book:

I also made a workout video for you to try at home!

Sometimes I feel sad and confused because I can’t see my friends and family. My grandma is sad that we can’t go visit her. I am going to write her a letter to cheer her up. My kids (Eli and Delilah) also colored her a picture. This week’s writing activity will help you write a letter to a friend or family member!

This week’s book is Charlie and Lola: I Will Not Ever Never Eat a Tomato, by Lauren Child.

Remember to try to eat fruits and vegetables every day- even if you are a picky eater.

Your challenge this week is to spell out your first and last name using the Fitness Name Challenge worksheet. Tag us on Facebook with your videos!
